ST JOHN THE BAPTIST CHURCH UPTON
This church was built as a Chapel-of-Ease in AD1120 in the Parish of Castor and Upton and still today is in the same parish as Castor. There is a service of Holy Communion here at 5pm on the First Wednesday of the month, in addition to a harvest festival and a carol service, services on Christmas Day and Easter Day and a Patronal Service on the nearest Sunday to 24th June (the Feast of St John the Baptist).
There is always a service of Holy Communion at the adjacent parish church of St Kyneburgha Castor, where the Daily Office is also said at 7.30am and 6pm daily.
